Requirements

Education

• Bachelor/Honors in Textile engineering, Apparels Manufacturing & Merchandising Technology from any reputed University

Experience

• 5 years atleast

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House

Additional Requirements

• Strong expertise in Woven, Denim & Bottom merchandising and Jersey
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, wash techniques, and fitting Sound understanding of European buyer
• Requirements and compliance standards Strong negotiation, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple buyers/orders simultaneously

Responsibilities & Context

Product Development

Handle all development activities including proto, fit, PP, SMS, and production samples.

Understand and execute technical specifications, garment construction, wash requirements, and fit comments accurately.

Interpret tech packs, artworks, measurements, and buyer standards effectively.

Prepare accurate garment costing considering fabric consumption, washes, trims, CM, logistics, and overheads.

Negotiate prices with suppliers while maintaining company profitability.

Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities.

Strong knowledge of woven and denim fabrics

Source fabrics, trims, and accessories based on buyer requirements and target costing.

Ensure all testing, approvals, and compliance requirements are completed before bulk production.

Order Execution & Production

Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans for all running orders.

Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Follow up production status proactively and resolve issues immediately to avoid delays.

Coordinate inline and final inspections to maintain buyer quality standards.

Ensure packaging, labeling, carton assortment, and shipment documentation are accurate.

 Coordinate with commercial/logistics teams for smooth and timely shipment execution
